Spanner Films is best known for Franny Armstrong's Grierson-winning climate blockbuster The Age of Stupid (2009), starring the late Pete Postlethwaite - “Think ‘Inconvenient Truth’ but with a personality” (LA Times) - which pioneered the use of crowd-funding and led to the formation of the 10:10 climate campaign. We also made McLibel (2005) and Drowned Out (2001).
